RV Sales Kelowna

RV Sales Kelowna - Battery Isolator - This allows the recreational vehicle to get power from the engine and power the house battery through a rectifier or solenoid switch. Usually, this works both ways although there are single styles which could be mounted on the engine but will only provide power from the recreational vehicle engine to the battery within the house. There are several kinds of RV which will contain a switch that turns over a relay to create short-lived connection of high currency between the two separate batteries that would allow the driver to utilize the house batteries to assist in starting the engine if they happen to be weaker than desired. If the RV does not have this switch, the recreational vehicle will probably have a pair of jumper cables to connect to each battery and create the same result. These cables are essential if the isolator has failed to stop the circuits from drawing power from either the house battery or the engine battery.

A roll-out awning is usually included by modern RV manufacturers. Usually roughly 75% of the length of the vehicle, the awning would be mounted to the side where the door is. For those that want to stay outdoors and also sit in the shade, there is a portable canopy available which would provide cover in an E-Z Up tent style. These canopies will have curtain covers attached to the side to protect campers from the elements. The tent utilized a type of frame which will fold into itself very compactly for storage purposes.

Campground Water Facilities
Quality of water in campground could be inconsistent therefore many RVs would include water filtration systems in their design. There will be a valve on the side of the recreational vehicle to connect a hose and provide the RV with water from the campground. In some instances, campers will buy an alternate water filter to be utilized when required.

Blackwater Tank
This is named so because after having been stored in the wastewater tank, waste from the toilet of the RV would turn black. When the tank becomes full, a sewer hose is attached to a valve in the tank and the contents are emptied in appropriate sewage area. Proper management of the tank system is very significant because failure to take care of the tank will cause an issue which could cost a really huge amount of money. For example, the hose connection must not be allowed to stay open since this would result in the water continually draining away while the solids remain.

Blackwater Tank Flushing System
In the blackwater tank, there is a pipe connected to a pressurized water source. This will wash the solids from the holding tank into a sewage dumpsite in the campground. It is recommended that a back-flow restrictor is used since this would stop the waste water from contaminating the fresh water system. These tanks are outfitted with a sensor system which will warn the campers to flush through the tank when the alarm goes off. Moreover, the tank would require a thorough spray wash every second tank draining.

RV Converter
Converters will be installed by the manufacturer and charge house batteries by getting power from campground hookups and transforms that to 12 volt power to utilize inside the RV.
